Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet and email is required.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Healthcare customer service experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally.
• Verify patient demographics, financial and insurance information.
• Register and schedule patients for appointments/tests/procedures.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances due at service.
• Explain financial assistance, payment plans, charity care.
• Obtain signatures on consents and disclosures.
• Provide directions and parking information.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care.
• Update patient records in the electronic health system.
• Follow up on pending items like prior authorizations and referrals.
