JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to ensure seamless front-desk operations and patient services. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments, contributing to efficient clinic flow.

The role requires 1+ years in healthcare front desk, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel to JAG locations as needed. High school diploma or medical assistant certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Willingness to travel to JAG locations per policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide directions as needed.
• Field calls using the office line and schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update medical records.
• Collect patient financial responsibility daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Perform insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Support workers' compensation and auto claim submissions as needed.
