Vail Valley Surgery Center in Vail, CO seeks a Patient Access Representative to handle patient registration, admissions, and related tasks. You will verify information, collect co-pays, and coordinate services while delivering friendly, high-quality service.

You will answer phones, schedule procedures, and manage documents and communications with patients and payors in a compliant, patient‑centered environment. This is a full-time role with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service and clerical experience.
• Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Aufgaben

• Registers patients and performs all registration-related functions, including obtaining consents and collecting financial paperwork and co-payments.
• Answers phones and coordinates patient inquiries to ensure access to care in a timely, service-oriented manner.
• Handles non-clinical questions and provides excellent customer service on the phone or in person.
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity, plan of care, and payer requirements using EMR and other systems.
• Schedules procedures, educates patients on pre/post-exam requirements, and distributes reminders and recall letters.
• Manages patient records, mail, email, faxes, and front desk correspondence; maintains organized files.
• Monitors and orders front desk supplies to control costs; participates in department meetings.
• Adheres to CMS requirements for coverage/eligibility information and ABN processes; maintains accurate records.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaires per CMS standards.
