You will verify information, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling while maintaining exceptional patient service and compliance with HIPAA and CMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Customer service and clerical experience required.
• Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and handles all registration-related tasks, including consents and collecting financial paperwork.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly with a customer-service orientation.
• Resolve non-clinical questions within scope and provide excellent service.
• Audit documentation for medical necessity and payor requirements (e.g., CMS).
• Schedule procedures and educate patients on pre/post-exam requirements when applicable.
• Organize and maintain patient files and scan records timely.
• Manage office correspondence and route queries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor and order front desk supplies for cost efficiency.
• Attend departmental staff meetings and ensure CMS and HIPAA compliance.
