Vail Health in Colorado’s mountain region is seeking a patient registration specialist to support admissions, verify information, collect paperwork, and coordinate orders and services. You will handle front desk duties, answer calls, schedule, and maintain EMR records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and performs all registration-related functions, including obtaining consents and collecting financial paperwork and co-payments.
• Answers phones and assists patients to access care with timely, service-focused communication.
• Resolves non-clinical questions while providing excellent customer service in person or on the phone.
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity, plan of care, and payor requirements, using EMR systems.
• Schedules procedures and educates patients on pre/post-exam requirements where applicable.
• Maintains and scans medical records timely and accurately.
