Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support a dynamic outpatient wound care center. You will handle front office duties, scheduling, patient communications, insurance verification, and data entry to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical office administration, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication. The role requires confidentiality and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
  • Greet patients and visitors, answer and route calls to appropriate staff.
  • Schedule and reschedule appointments, and confirm notifications.
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-certifications.
  • Enter charges in databases and assist with monthly activity reports.
  • Assemble and maintain patient charts, ensure data completeness and signatures.
  • Coordinate/schedule ancillary testing with other hospital departments.
  • Arrange patient transportation as needed.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies; perform other duties as required.
