Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support outpatient wound care centers. You will manage front-office duties, scheduling, patient communications, and data entry across patient charts and billing systems.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in office administration (medical setting preferred), and proficiency with MS Office. Strong organization, confidentiality, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in medical setting; medical coding preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Typing 60 wpm with attention to accuracy; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients, answer calls, and route to appropriate staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders; coordinate care continuum.
• Verify insurance, obtain pre-certifications/pre-authorizations, and enter data.
• Enter patient charges in databases and reconcile them as directed.
• Assemble and file patient charts; check data completeness and signatures.
• Coordinate ancillary testing and arrange patient transportation.
• Maintain office equipment and medical supplies; perform other duties as needed.
