Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for our South Lake Union campus. This full-time role manages complex scheduling, greets patients, screens them for appointments, and coordinates clinical and outside consults.

You will work across multiple systems to ensure accurate arrivals and smooth patient flow. The position requires a high school diploma, about one year of customer service experience, and strong empathy, listening, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and direct patients to locations.
• Check in patients using scheduling system and greet them.
• Distribute paperwork to patients and staff.
• Triage questions and forward to appropriate staff.
• Schedule all patient appointments and coordinate with departments.
• Communicate scheduling needs with providers and staff.
• Manage prioritization of scheduling requests.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate procedures.
• Assist with training new staff.
