Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator-Infusion to support seamless scheduling and patient flow at the South Lake Union campus. You will greet patients, manage check-in, and coordinate complex infusion scheduling across multiple departments.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced health care environment, including holidays and weekends. Relevant EMR and scheduling system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure healthcare environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient location flow with clinical staff.
• Greet, screen, and check in patients via scheduling system.
• Distribute appropriate paperwork to patients and staff.
• Triage inquiries and route to appropriate staff.
• Schedule all patient appointments and referrals.
• Communicate scheduling needs to providers and staff.
• Provide exceptional patient–family support.
• Assist with training new staff.
