Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a detail‑oriented Patient Service Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless and supported.

You will verify insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize schedules to help patients access care quickly and confidently, while upholding HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed per HIPAA rules.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; process authorizations.
• Obtain required authorizations and prior authorizations.
• Oversee collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and staff.
