The role covers pre-service activities, insurance verification, and patient communication, with a focus on compliance, customer service, and efficient scheduling across Mercyhealth facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.
• Two years of healthcare registration, scheduling, or physicians' office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register visits and ensure certifications/authorizations before service date.
• Obtain referrals/authorizations/pre-certifications in systems.
• Answer calls and schedule or route to appropriate departments.
