Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Strong communication, customer service, data entry, and organizational skills; knowledge of medical terminology; and the ability to apply policies related to patient registration, payment collection, record maintenance, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient registration, scheduling, and visit preparation by reviewing records, verifying demographics and insurance, collecting payments, obtaining required documentation, and supporting check-in and check-out processes.
• Maintains accurate patient records, schedules tests and procedures, manages encounter and billing documentation, answers phones, and communicates patient information and messages in a timely manner according to practice standards.
