Qualifications

• One-year Medical Office Management program or equivalent experience in a health care environment.
• Two years’ experience in a health care environment.
• Proficient in English and computer skills; familiar with medical terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and track telephone contacts; direct calls to appropriate party and obtain information.
• Register patients, schedule and adjust appointments, and verify insurance information.
• Collect co-payments and post payments; maintain patient records and privacy.
• Assist with discharge functions and ensure accurate demographic data in records.
