Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to handle front-end operations at the assigned clinic in Arizona.

You will register patients, verify demographics, and maintain electronic charts within the EHR system. You will answer clinic calls, schedule intake appointments, verify insurance, collect amounts due, and identify potential AHCCCS funding sources with referrals to enrollment specialists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience with insurance verification and/or front desk in a medical office setting preferred.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics; create and maintain patient electronic charts.
• Perform insurance verifications for each visit and identify any patient amounts due.
• Schedule intake and follow-up appointments in the clinic scheduling system.
• Identify funding sources for uninsured patients and refer to AHCCCS screening.
