Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is a behavioral health provider in Arizona seeking a Patient Services Specialist to manage front-end clinic operations. The role includes patient registration, demographic verification, and maintaining the patient chart in the EHR/EPM scheduling system.

The position handles incoming calls, schedules intake appointments, and verifies insurance while identifying amounts due at service. It also coordinates AHCCCS screening referrals when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
• 1-3 years experience with insurance verification and/or front desk in medical setting preferred but not required.
• Must have knowledge of AHCCCS, insurance, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle front-end operations for the assigned clinic, including patient registration and demographic verification.
• Create and maintain patient electronic charts in the EHR/EPM scheduling system.
• Schedule intake and follow-up appointments within established timeframes.
• Verify insurance information and identify patient amounts due at point of service.
• Identify funding sources for uninsured patients and refer AHCCCS screening to the eligibility/enrollment specialist.
