JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative for locations in New Jersey. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, register new patients, and handle insurance verifications and referrals to support care delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma, medical assistant certificate preferred, 1+ year health-care reception experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Travel between JAG locations may be required; competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in health care.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions.
• Field calls using the general office number.
• Use medical office software to schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms to ensure required fields are completed.
• Daily collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
