Job summary

Alomere Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support scheduling for primary and specialty providers, patient registration, and check-in/out processes. The role requires strong computer skills and the ability to learn new protocols while aligning with department workflows.

The successful candidate will handle insurance verification, collect copays, and ensure accurate billing and patient privacy. Experience with EPIC and MyChart is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred: Medical Secretarial training, medical terminology, or related experience.
• Strong customer service skills with patients and healthcare team.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn EPIC and MyChart quickly.
• Ability to multi-task with accuracy and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect necessary information.
• Schedule appointments and manage MyChart/MyChart requests.
• Check patients in/out and verify insurance eligibility.
• Collect copays and process payments.
• Follow billing protocols and coordinate with Patient Accounts Services.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
