Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answer, schedule, document and follow up on patient and provider inquiries by phone, internet or written/electronic correspondence.
• Educate patients and providers on insurance, provider, department/location, payment options and availability of Carle services.
• Obtain, update and verify patient demographics, insurance and co-pays and primary physicians.
• Answer telephone, relay messages to physicians, nurses and others and ensure timely delivery of information.
• Distribute messages according to practice communication standards.
