Responsibilities

• Answer calls in the phone system and route to the right person
• Schedule patient appointments for multiple offices (excluding physical therapy)
• Register new patients in the PM system with demographic and insurance data
• Verify active insurance information and eligibility
• Process faxed requests from outside providers and register/schedule accordingly
• Scan records into patient charts and manage EHR messages and faxes
• Handle prescription refills by phone/fax and coordinate with provider
• Enter insurance referrals in patient charts and reschedule as needed
• Coordinate testing orders and appointments with facilities and patients
