Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of Cleveland Clinic outpatient scheduling experience or equivalent.
• OR three years of external outpatient scheduling experience.
• OR Associate Degree and one year of experience.
• OR Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate the activities and flow of work for the patient access area.
• Develop, implement and oversee programs to improve appointment utilization such as reminder, follow-up on no-show/cancellation program.
• Coordinate activities and resolve operational problems.
• Adjust employees, patients and physicians' schedules to respond to operational problems.
• Control and audit the reconciliation of day sheets including adjusting statistics in the computer data bank.
• Produce reports as needed.
