Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Patient Access Representative/Scheduler to handle check-in/out, scheduling, and front-desk support within a busy health center in Las Vegas. The role emphasizes confidentiality, patient education, and coordinating care with physicians and staff.

The position requires MA training, 3 years’ front-office experience, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and proficiency with EHR and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Diploma/Certificate Program.
• 3 years of experience in an office or ambulatory clinic as Front Office Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interface with physicians and staff.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and MS Word/Excel.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in patients at the front desk.
• Schedule appointments and review details for accuracy.
• Provide benefit plan and eligibility information.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality per policies.
• Assist with patient flow and escort to exam rooms.
• Support care coordination and answer patient questions.
