Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, collect financial information, and guide them to the correct departments. Responsibilities

• Acknowledging patients or guests and their requests
• Assists in the training of new employees
• Document any financial arrangements made in the patient’s account notes
• Maintains HIPAA and other regulatory compliance
• Register patients; collect deposits or payments and explain financial responsibility
• Direct patients to proper destinations within the hospital
• Maintain patient records and admission documentation with accuracy
• Meet department productivity goals (e.g., registering 20 patients per shift)
