Qualifications

• 3 years of Front Office Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; able to interview patients and interact with physicians and staff.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and common software (Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; proficient with computers and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for participants and families at the Health Center front desk.
• Greet, check in, schedule appointments, and perform front desk tasks.
• Review appointment details for accuracy and coordinate with providers.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures and manage patient flow.
• Document patient information in chart/EHR per Joint Commission standards.
