Houston Methodist is seeking a Scheduler to provide access to care by coordinating appointment-based services across designated facilities. Formación

• Two years of experience in a medical setting or call center environment
• Medical scheduling experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Schedules patients for services accurately on the appropriate schedule. Synchronizes appointment calendars based on physician/department availability and urgency.
• Obtains valid and compliant orders and schedules patients according to physician orders and department criteria.
• Communicates with departments to overcome scheduling barriers and arranges for interpreter, mobility, or other assistance as needed.
• Enters patient demographic and insurance information into the EHR system and supports pre-registration and insurance verification.
