Mercy Health in Greenville seeks a Patient Services Representative for Premier Family Medicine. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling registrations, verifying demographics, and collecting insurance information while guiding patients through scheduling and encounters.

You will work to ensure accurate records, assist with referrals, use MyChart for online scheduling, and support billing and front-desk activities.

Formación

• Strong communication and customer service skills with patients and community.
• Ability to greet patients respectfully and assist with scheduling and demographics.
• Experience with insurance verification and patient registration processes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Answer and route calls, schedule patients, and enter scheduling information accurately.
• Process patient registrations and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Assist with admission paperwork and basic insurance verification.
• Calculate patient liabilities and collect payments; reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Enter charges for external services as needed.
• Schedule referrals and follow-ups; assist with MyChart and online scheduling.
• Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications when applicable.
• Maintain and file patient charts and verify RX benefits.
• Refer patients to financial counselors and complete revenue cycle tasks.
