Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a front desk registrar to assist patients through the registration process, verify demographics and insurance for billing accuracy, and support scheduling across clinics.

You will maintain a cash drawer, process co-pays, and handle calls, messages, and referrals while upholding No Surprise Act guidelines and providing a positive guest experience. High school diploma required; EPIC Cadence/Prelude experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: graduate of certified medical office training.
• Experience with EPIC Cadence/Prelude and healthcare customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients through the registration process and verify demographics and insurance for accurate payment processing and insurance billing.
• Assist new employees with registration workflows.
• Follow protocols for collecting and posting co-pays and review records for bad debt.
