Job summary

Conifer Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Access role to support departmental efficiencies through scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission processes. You will gather complete patient demographics and apply compliant liability collection techniques before, during, and after the date of service.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, completing registration, explaining forms, educating on financial responsibilities, and coordinating with payors for authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients following Conifer Standards of Care and register at date of service.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect appropriately.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility; obtain authorizations as needed.
