Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required upon hire
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of patient registration procedures and health insurance payers
• Real-time insurance eligibility verifications knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration across assigned access points with accurate demographic info and insurance verification
• Accurately scan, index, and manage patient documentation for registration, billing, and clinical workflows
• Communicate patient financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate
• Schedule, confirm, and revise patient appointments to support timely access to care
• Identify and resolve routine registration and insurance discrepancies; escalate complex issues
• Provide patient-facing support via telephone and other approved channels
