Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required upon hire.
• 1 year relevant experience in healthcare or patient access preferred, with knowledge of patient registration procedures and health insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration and admitting functions across assigned access points with accurate demographic information and insurance verification.
• Accurately scan, index, and manage patient documentation to support workflows.
• Communicate patient financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule, confirm, and revise patient appointments to support timely access to care.
• Identify and resolve routine discrepancies; escalate complex issues per procedures.
• Provide patient-facing support via telephone and other channels, documenting interactions.
