Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred, in patient access or registration.
• Knowledge of health insurance payers and real-time eligibility verification.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across access points with accurate demographics and insurance data.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documentation for workflows.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable.
• Schedule and adjust appointments to support timely care.
• Resolve routine registration and insurance discrepancies; escalate complex cases.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone and other channels.
