Job summary

You will work within the Ambulatory Division, coordinating with providers and staff to ensure accurate data entry, smooth patient flow, and compliant medical records management.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer engagement experience and/or service-centered role.
• Experience in healthcare environment and medical record processes, appointment scheduling, referral and authorization processes, registration process, and back office clinical support preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively articulate thoughts into a productive and meaningful discussion.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities effectively and within expected timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and verifies registration and insurance information; enters into EMR.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates referrals with providers.
• Verifies eligibility and explains benefits to patients.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assists with front desk duties and supports Ambulatory Division practices.
