Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our on-site team in Escondido, CA. You'll be the first point of contact, manage appointments, assist with patient registration, and support front-office operations in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of customer service, and EMR/phone system experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm; temporary role through 12/01/2026.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; healthcare background preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and multi-line phones is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus depending on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for patients, visitors, and calls with courtesy.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments in the scheduling system.
• Provide visit prep instructions and clinic process information.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to maintain clinic flow.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and registration data; update records.
