Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Representative to provide front office support, improve patient access, and deliver an excellent patient experience at our site in California. This role involves managing calls, coordinating appointments, assisting with registrations, and maintaining accurate scheduling workflows in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The candidate will communicate with patients, providers, medical assistants, and leadership to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Bilingual preferred depending on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and incoming calls.
• Greets and assists patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Schedules, reschedules, and confirms patient appointments in the scheduling system.
• Maintains accurate scheduling workflows and communicates with providers and teams.
