Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Elgin and Elk Grove is hiring a Patient Service Representative for the OBGYN clinic. You’ll be the first point of contact, greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and ensuring accurate records in the EPIC system.

You’ll work a schedule across locations with a focus on patient access, confidentiality, and delivering outstanding service. EPIC proficiency and strong communication are required; HS diploma and 1 year in medical office

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Experience in receptionist/front desk roles strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar EMR systems.
• Knowledge of insurance verification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in/out; schedule appointments.
• Answer phones and manage a multi-line system.
• Collect copays and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Verify insurance and update patient demographics in EPIC.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-ups for patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support team huddles and monitor scheduling metrics.
