Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Three (3) years of customer service and/or clerical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide information center and scheduling support for outpatient appointments.
• Verify key patient information (insurance, demographics) for accuracy and billing purposes.
• Schedule patient appointments and communicate cancellations to providers as needed.
• Manage referrals for multiple clinics and adhere to referral policies.
• Answer calls, direct messages, and enter messages in Epic; coordinate with clinic staff.
• Assist in QA and error reduction through system work queues and daily tasks.
