Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of customer service or medical office experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer data-entry/typing is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient and staff service consistent with the Patient First philosophy.
• Respond to questions and concerns and escalate as needed.
• Verify patient demographics and collect necessary information per standards.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with departments and physicians’ offices.
• Perform basic financial checks and inform patients of costs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Support training and coverage as assigned by supervisors.
