Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience in call center, physician's office, or retail/service industry.
• Excellent customer service skills; strong typing and computer skills; basic understanding of insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Independently create and schedule appointments within the electronic medical record.
• Gather patient demographics and inform patients about copays, referrals, and pre-service deposits.
• Respond to patients, referring physicians, Allied Health staff, and families.
• Provide exceptional service while navigating multiple systems and talking to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Handle scheduling workflows via phone, online requests, and fax requests.
• Promote teamwork and outstanding patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold patient safety and quality.
