Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience in call center, physician's office, or retail/service industry.
• Strong typing and basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule appointments within the EMR system.
• Collect patient demographics and provider information; advise on copayments, referrals, and pre-service deposits.
• Respond to and interact with patients, customers, referring physicians, allied health staff and family members.
• Navigate multiple scheduling workflows, handling telephone calls, online requests, and fax requests.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
