Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong customer service to patients as the front-line contact.
• Ensure quality patient scheduling, answer phones with positive etiquette and maintain satisfaction.
• Greet, register, schedule, collect point-of-service copays and provide general information.
• Organize tasks and project Cooper’s values to patients and coworkers.
• Act as non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
