Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Scheduler to serve as the first point of contact for patients and callers, answering calls and coordinating scheduling with accuracy and courtesy.

You will schedule appointments and procedures, verify information such as insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, test results and patient demographics, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and provide positive first contact for patients and callers.
• Schedule appointments and procedures accurately while collecting and verifying required information.
• Verify insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results, and patient demographics.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Deliver service excellence and support seamless coordination of care.
