Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Scheduler to be the first point of contact for patients and callers, handling appointment scheduling and information verification with professionalism.

You will obtain insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions and test results, verify patient demographics, maintain confidentiality, and support seamless coordination of care through clear, respectful communication and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of one year medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and act as the first point of contact for patients and callers.
• Schedule appointments and procedures accurately while obtaining and verifying information.
• Verify insurance authorizations, eligibility, prescriptions, blood test results and patient demographics.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in line with policies and procedures.
• Support seamless coordination of care through clear and respectful communication.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence; perform other duties as assigned.
