• Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with accurate data entry.
• Cash handling: Safeguards cash, checks and receipts; reconciles cash drawer daily.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and explains the registration process; answers questions.
• Processes co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and balances due; safeguards cash and receipts.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Obtains signatures on consent and financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels appointments; maintains accurate records.
• Maintains confidentiality and secures patient information at all times.
