Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers or pre-registers all scheduled patients for admission, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
• Verifies insurance coverage and obtains required authorizations for services that require auth, pre-certification, and/or referral.
• Coordinates with patients and scheduling to reschedule procedures until authorization or patient payment can be arranged.
• Updates schedule for cancellations, rescheduling, and other changes on an ongoing basis.
