Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at the Belmar Clinic – Primary Care. You will greet, screen, and assist patients, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule visits or tests.

You may assist with billing and PHI privacy while delivering a respectful, professional experience. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, excellent communication, and collaboration with care teams to ensure smooth patient intake and service

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check‑in/out patients.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect and process payments following procedures.
• Document interactions in the EMR and educate patients on financial aspects.
