SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Patient Care Coordination Specialist I to be the entry point for patients, handling registration, scheduling, and insurance verification with a focus on accuracy and service excellence.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, data entry proficiency, and adherence to workflows within an electronic health record (EHR) system to support efficient clinic operations and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative support is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and staff via phone, email, or in person.
• Register and pre-register patients with accurate demographic, insurance, and eligibility data in the EHR.
• Assist with patient check-in, collect co-pays, and ensure required forms are completed.
