Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking an entry-level Patient Care Coordination I in Juneau, AK. You will be the primary contact for patients, assisting with registration, scheduling, and insurance verification to support access to care with high-quality service.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry in the EHR, patient check-in, collecting co-pays, confirming appointments, and maintaining confidentiality while aligning with SEARHC standards and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• One year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and staff via phone, electronic communication, or in person.
• Registers and pre-registers patients in the EHR with accurate demographics and eligibility information.
• Performs patient check-in, collects co-pays, and ensures required forms are completed.
• Schedules and manages appointments across service lines per protocols.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and upholds SEARHC Standards of Service Excellence.
