Rutland Regional Medical Center in Vermont is seeking a Pre-Access Representative to support referral and prior authorization processes, as well as scheduling elective and urgent appointments and pre-registering patients for outpatient and inpatient services.

The role includes collecting patient demographics and insurance information, informing patients about visit prep and check-in times, and helping optimize insurance benefits while ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year prior registration/scheduling/prior authorization experience.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Moderate knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Demonstrated moderate knowledge of Basic Computer Skills.

Mansioni

Support one or more Pre-Access functions: referral/prior authorization, scheduling, and pre-registration.
Notify patients of visit information such as prep, check-in times, etc.
Focus on patient needs, efficient use of hospital resources, and optimization of insurance benefits for the patient and organization.
