Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is seeking a full time Patient Registration representative to join our Finance team. In this department we handle any calls that come in for a new potential client to receive mental health or drug and alcohol services.

Duties include talking with clients over the phone to schedule their first appointment with an Outpatient Therapist, managing therapists' schedules, returning voicemails or emails for new referrals, and completing data entry and scanning

Qualifications

• Must have computer experience and be proficient in typing and data entry.
• Office experience required.
• Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, work independently and prioritize tasks.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Familiar with South Central PA counties: Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, York

Responsibilities

• Talk with clients over the phone and ask intake questions to schedule first appointment with an Outpatient Therapist.
• Manage Outpatient Therapists schedules to keep their schedule up to date with availability to see new clients.
• Return voicemails or emails for new referrals.
• Complete data entry and scanning during downtime between phone calls.
