Allina Health Isles Clinic in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Clinic Patient Access Representative to provide scheduling support, assist patients with access to services, and serve as a liaison for patients, families, providers, and staff regarding access and billing questions.

The position is full-time with an 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week and no weekend rotation. Relevant healthcare or customer service experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in healthcare or other customer service position.
• 2+ years experience of basic medical terminology experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduling support and coordination of appointments.
• Functions as in-clinic resource for scheduling, billing, and service questions.
• Processes incoming calls and correspondence related to access, billing, or service inquiries.
• Documents patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• May complete prior authorizations, referrals, and manage assigned work queues.
