Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our pediatric care team. The role supports patient scheduling, registration, and family communication while upholding HIPAA and organizational values.

Requirements include a high school diploma (some college preferred) and at least two years of healthcare or office experience; knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and a comprehensive rewards package.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Two years of general office or healthcare experience required.
• Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (Outlook) and computer skills preferred.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy under deadlines.

Mansioni

• Answer multiple divisional phone calls and schedule appointments; assist with cross-department coordination.
• Provide physician-patient support following scheduling guidelines and tools; arrange new and return visits.
• Collect patient demographics, verify insurance eligibility and complete registrations.
• Transcribe referrals in Epic and submit for clinical triage as directed by guidelines.
• Facilitate electronic and non-electronic communications with families and patients.
